Ceramic Frying Pan

We are sending our old frying pan to the recycling depot. Actually it’s my grandparents old frying pan. The one they probably used when camping. It’s horrible. The handle kept unscrewing, food sticks to it like crazy and I miss having a decent one. So I gave in and bought a ceramic frying pan from Winners. It’s like night and day to my old frying pan.

Non-stick is beautiful!

Correction, non-toxic non-stick is beautiful.

My husband is not pleased that once again I bought something that can’t be put in the dishwasher. To that I don’t have much to say. Healthier is healthier. I feel better having a non-toxic cooking device in my kitchen, hand washing and all!

If I can’t do anything about current health issues people around me are facing I can at least try to have a less toxic home for my family.

  1. I hope your ceramic frying pan does better than mine did! I too bought one at Winners last year and, sadly, it didn’t last long. 😦 I did finally break down and buy a cast iron pan a few months back, and I love it. Good luck!

  2. I never heard of ceramic frying pans, definitely an improvement over the toxic non stick ones. I have a stainless steel set of pans, now all I need is a stove 😉
