Better than opening Christmas presents…

All my school things arrived yesterday!!! Gotta love styrofoam peanuts, not.

Some things they included were an eraser and a measuring tape. The measuring tape was quickly appropriated. But it all came with a pretty blue bag to keep it somewhat organized, ha ha.So far the box has been the highlight for my youngest son.The missing pictures would have shown the box being emptied on to his head and then walked around.

I have read the first bit. I’m still excited!

~StephanieHere’s a little Zero-Waste Fast Food Extra. I grabbed a quick coffee and a paper-bag-less scone from the Town Pantry. After the last cleanse I have pretty much given up cream in my coffee which makes getting zero-waste takeout coffee so much easier! The paper is just some of what we have already received from my six-year old’s school.

About stephanieough

Wife, mom, concerned citizen of the earth. Striving towards intentional living rather than blindly following. Former Education Specialist for a corporation, I have now taken a step back to spend time with my family and work closer to home. Hoping to reduce our waste through refusing, reducing and reusing so that we will not have to recycle as much. Also, I love to explore zero-waste fast food and take pictures of my sucesses. I'm a fan of British comedies like Red Dwarf and Black Adder, Kevin Smith and his movies, Asian food, documentaries, biographies and going to Las Vegas on vacation. If someone told me I could only listen to the Beatles for the rest of my life I would die happy.

  1. Good luck with your classes. When I was in college I looked forward to a new semester just to see the books and browse through them.
