Zero-Waste Fast Food? Subway – Coffee Break

When I noticed Subway was serving up coffee and a cookie for only $1 the first thing I thought was that I had to try to get this with zero-waste. I asked them if I could bring my own mug. They said yes so the next day I went prepared with my mug and a cloth napkin for the cookie. I had to think outside of the box because the location I visited only had little creamo’s. As I have done in the past, I solved the problem by “borrowing” some cream from Starbucks. You have to get a little creative sometimes.

Now that I know they have this great deal I will have to restrain myself. I could end up over doing the cookie thing.

Mmm, cookie.

  1. You are so darn sweet. I love the “borrowing” of the cream from Starbucks. You sound so much like me, I think we might be sisters seperated at birth. 🙂
