Living on Less

I have a 12 pack a year habit.I’m going to change that though. For a few different reasons I’m planning on getting an IUD. One little device and I’ll be set for 5 years. That’s 72 packs of pills I won’t have to throw in the garbage. It will be joyous to not have to remember taking it, getting renewals and filling the prescriptions. It will save gas, prescription costs and headaches. It’s really hard for me to remember to take my pill everyday. A great solution will be just not to take it anymore. All these people have great ideas for me on how I can remember it. They don’t have ADHD and will never really understand. It’s a simple way to simplify. I identified the problem and decided to eliminate it rather than try to find a way to “cope” with it.This is the type I’m getting, Mirena. It releases a small dose of hormones locally. There are some other options we could look into…

Have a great day,

About stephanieough

Wife, mom, concerned citizen of the earth. Striving towards intentional living rather than blindly following. Former Education Specialist for a corporation, I have now taken a step back to spend time with my family and work closer to home. Hoping to reduce our waste through refusing, reducing and reusing so that we will not have to recycle as much. Also, I love to explore zero-waste fast food and take pictures of my sucesses. I'm a fan of British comedies like Red Dwarf and Black Adder, Kevin Smith and his movies, Asian food, documentaries, biographies and going to Las Vegas on vacation. If someone told me I could only listen to the Beatles for the rest of my life I would die happy.
