zero waste, Zero Waste Food?

Zero-Waste meal in Las Vegas – Wolfgang Puck’s Spago

I finally achieved my zero-waste meal at Spago in the Caesars Palace Forum Shops. Last time we were seated “outside” (facing the mall) on a simulated balcony. The tablecloths were topped with paper rendering the meal not truly zero waste. This time we were seated inside the restaurant and those tables were not covered in paper. Once again the meal itself did not incur any waste… it all ended up in my tummy. I chose the special which was an asian style Ahi Tuna Burger on a potato bun. Delicious! My husbands meal was zero-waste except the straw in his drink. Again with the straws!

I love to eat at restaurants that have cloth napkins and real plates.

About stephanieough

Wife, mom, concerned citizen of the earth. Striving towards intentional living rather than blindly following. Former Education Specialist for a corporation, I have now taken a step back to spend time with my family and work closer to home. Hoping to reduce our waste through refusing, reducing and reusing so that we will not have to recycle as much. Also, I love to explore zero-waste fast food and take pictures of my sucesses. I'm a fan of British comedies like Red Dwarf and Black Adder, Kevin Smith and his movies, Asian food, documentaries, biographies and going to Las Vegas on vacation. If someone told me I could only listen to the Beatles for the rest of my life I would die happy.
