What I’m doing to be… healthier.

I finally did it. I started a cleanse. Today is Day 6 of 7. The brand that I chose is made locally which I love and you can still eat 3-5 times a day. There are rules to follow though including eating no mushrooms (????), drinking 8-10 cups of water a day and no dairy except plain yogurt.

One of my goals for 2012 is to return to my Jan 2011 weight. Figuring that maybe my body needed a little detox from the holidays I decided to do my first ever cleanse. The amount of food recommended to eat seemed large but I did it anyways. I can’t help but not weigh myself and have noticed a few pounds have slipped away. Whoopee! So Sunday morning will be the weigh-in that will show me whether or not I needed to do a cleanse or not. If there is not much of a difference in weight than maybe I didn’t need to do it. Either way I was forced to eat healthy for a week.
