Every Cookbook by 2012 – Muffins and More

I pulled out my Sunbeam Mixmaster to save my Company’s Coming Muffins & More cookbook. My grandma gave me her Mixmaster as part of our wedding gift seven years ago. As far as I can tell it’s over fifty years old. I’m pretty sure I have a 1960’s model but that’s just from a short internet search. It works great and brings me wonderful memories of a very special lady.

Oh sure what girl wouldn’t love to have a really awesome Kitchenaid Stand Mixer.

Or even an extra special one…I’m hoping though that I will never need to upgrade my mixer. Who knows, if it’s lasted this long it may have another fifty years worth of wear in it.

I had some over-ripe bananas so I made yummy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. It tasted so good that the kids even liked it. For now this cookbook has earned a spot on my shelf.

I decided my Company’s Coming Appliance Cook Book will be donated. I found two pizza dough recipes that sound worth trying so I wrote them out. It’s not worth keeping a cookbook that has a majority of recipes in it that are for appliances you don’t own.

Have a great day,

Zero-waste extra.

Yesterday Chevron’s Town Pantry had no problem with me using my Starbucks cup to buy a coffee. They have their cream in stainless steel carafes instead of single creamers. They even gave me the small-sized price. It’s all good!

Former Education Specialist for a corporation, I have now taken a step back to spend time with my family and work closer to home. Hoping to reduce our waste through refusing, reducing and reusing so that we will not have to recycle as much. Also, I love to explore zero-waste fast food and take pictures of my sucesses. I'm a fan of British comedies like Red Dwarf and Black Adder, Kevin Smith and his movies, Asian food, documentaries, biographies and going to Las Vegas on vacation. If someone told me I could only listen to the Beatles for the rest of my life I would die happy.
