Stone Cold Creamery seemed like a fine enough spot to try to get some zero-waste ice cream. Of course I came prepared with my own containers! After a few questions about how they measure the ice cream and whether they would put it in my container we were on our way! They use metal scoops to get the ice cream out and onto the cutting surface and then they added all sorts of bits and pieces of goodness to create my “Birthday Cake Re-mix”. The two employees seemed to get a kick out of it. One of them even said that they wished all the customers did what I was doing. They discussed amongst themselves whether or not I would need/want a spoon (of course it was a no). What a great experience and the ice cream was awesome too!
